Foreigners to apply for work permits over the Internet

Foreign nationals willing to work in Turkey will soon be able to file their applications over the Internet. In order to hasten the bureaucratic procedures, the Turkish Ministry of Labor and Social Security will accept work permit applications made by foreign personnel over the Internet.
The automation project is expected to start in the first months of the year, allowing the applicants to track the status of their applications online.
