Cost of living abroad much less in Turkey
29 October 2009
Living abroad in Turkey is a very affordable proposition for Britons, it has been stated.
In a feature on the country’s property prospects, Didim Today noted that the cost of living is 60 per cent less than in the UK.
Julian Walker of Turkish property specialists Spot Blue said the lifestyle is highly attractive but needs to be discovered.
The paper quoted him as saying: "A lot of people from Britain haven’t visited Turkey before and are anxious about it. But once they see how much beautiful, open space there is, they understand its potential."
Such potential will translate into annual price growth five six per cent, according to Deutsche Bank.
