Even the Spanish go to Turkey

Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, the family owned Spanish hospitality company known for offering memorable vacations and some of the best service in the industry continues to grow its portfolio with the addition of five new properties in Turkey, Tunisia, Greece and Cuba. The new hotel openings bring the brand’s current roster to more than 100 properties and marks Iberostar’s entrance into a sixteenth country, Turkey.

“The addition of these five properties shows that Iberostar is committed to expanding into a variety of markets to meet the needs of today’s travellers,” said John Long, vice president of sales and marketing for Iberostar. “With our expansion in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic earlier this year, plus these new properties, Iberostar is planning to significantly increase its portfolio over the next five years, strengthening its presence in geographical areas where hotels already exists, as well as diversifying its product portfolio into new segments of the hotel business and into international destinations.”

The new properties include Iberostar Bellis – Located on the sandy beach of Belek in Turkey, this five-star all-inclusive property features 600 guestrooms, a spa & wellness centre, a variety of dining options and is in close proximity to the town of Kadyrie where guests can shop, eat and revel in genuine Turkish hospitality.

The Iberostar experience offers the highest level of service, quality, cuisine and amenities. For properties that are all-inclusive, the experience includes tips and taxes, food and beverages, non-motorized water sports, entertainment and resort activities.
