Kusadasi, Dalaman and Side - Turkey's top three resorts

Kusadasi, Dalaman and Side are the best resorts in Turkey, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The newspaper recommends Kusadasi for offering plenty of activities for families, with beaches, water parks and for a more educational day out, the ruins of Roman Ephesus are close by.
Ismir airport is 45 minutes away and Melito Villas offer four-bedroom accommodation within walking distance of the beach from £66,500.
Dalaman has more active pursuits such as boat trips, nature tours and even white-water rafting trips. An 18-hole golf course is expected to open in 2009 and the blue-flag beach at Sarigerme has lifeguards.
Nearby developments such as Akkaya Gardens and Olive Grove offer family-sized homes complete with pools and other facilities.
Those who enjoy being surrounded by ruins and a sense of history will enjoy the ancient resort of Side, which boasts gently sloping beaches and horse-riding trips in the Sorgum Forest.
In season, the old town can be reached by a tractor train, and homes are available to purchase close to the beach and shops.
