Turkish rental market set to grow
07 March 2008
Demand for rental accommodation in Turkey is likely to grow in the next few years, according to an expert.
Sarah Brown from NuBricks stated that holiday homes across the country would be in massive demand if "ambitious" government plans to attract more tourists are successful.
The government wants to increase the annual number of foreign arrivals from 23 million to 50 million in the next 15 years.
Writing for the website, Ms Brown said that if it gets "anywhere near" this figure, a property boom is also likely to take place. She commented: "Turkey could be a very interesting property market to watch over the next few years."
Ms Brown added that existing holiday homes in key tourist resorts will be particularly sought-after.
